Importing Competitors from Sailwave

Overview

If event scoring is managed in Sailwave, you can push the competitor list directly from Sailwave into RRS.org using the Sailwave RRS plugin. The import can be run as many times as needed — each run updates the competitor data in RRS.org with the latest information from Sailwave, making it easy to keep the two systems in sync throughout the event.

Finding Your Event UUID in RRS.org

The Sailwave plugin requires the UUID (unique identifier) of your event in RRS.org. To find it, open your Event Panel and look for the UUID field — click show if it is hidden. Copy the UUID; you will paste it into Sailwave.

Running the Import in Sailwave

In Sailwave, open the Plugins menu and select the RRS interface. Paste the UUID you copied from RRS.org into the field provided and click Upload. Sailwave pushes the competitor data to RRS.org immediately. You should then see the updated competitor list in RRS.org under Competitors on the Event Panel.
