Drawing Tools (can't find it in RRoS Search)

I've tried searching (for something about drawing tools... I know I've seen discussion, and would like something..) but can not get any results.  I have tried on a laptop, on my phone, and tried searching for 'rule', knowing for certain that word is in here.  No results are displayed.

What drawing tools do people use?

Thanks, in advance if someone can help with resolution of this.

Thank you.  I went to Google and found my way to that.

It is the case that the search function doesn't work here though.

I draw a lot of tactical diagrams because of my involvement with the rules, and overall, I recommend Boat Scenario (see Mark's comment for the URL).  I'd love it if the boats could be numbered -- the workaround is to put a text bubble at position 1 and move the bubble right over the boat, so the cartoon effect is removed.  The drawing tool provided with the US Sailing app (select the pencil at the bottom of the app to get the protest form and scroll down to the diagram) is very non-intuitive and maybe not very good -- I just heard a protest where a party used it and his review was, simply, "never again".  And besides, it's only good for protests filed from your phone.

I also use SailPlay app on my MacBook and am very happy with it.

If you are a US Sailing member, their app has a pretty good drawing tool in the protest filing part of the app but as far as I know it only works on mobile devices.  I filed a protest via the app and it freaked the protest committee out.

@Rob - What exactly do you mean by "if the boats could be numbered"? Do you mean sail numbers?

Tactical Sailing Solutions for PC        https://tss.peronneau.net
Sail Replay for Mac  (not iPad)          https://sailreplay.com
Both are in my opinion superb and have free trial periods.  They then ask for subscriptions - not unreasonable given the work put in!
If you want any extra features with Sail Replay then contact the author Andraž Koželj - he will try to sort it out.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I don't have a MAC; only windows computers, so I downloaded Boat Scenario, and am getting used to it.
Best regards,
Vince
