CAN, USA and RYA decisions and appeals

I received an email asking this question and thought it better answer it publicly. It read:

I was surprised and delighted to see from a recent post where the poster linked to a RYA Appeal, that RYA, CAN and US Sailing Appeals are available on the website.

I can find some of these using the Find/Search facility, but can you tell me, please how to access these appeals through the menu system.

Are they or will they be linked to the rules as the WS Cases are?

You can see links to MNA appeals or decisions by selecting the appropriate Prescriptions.

Once you've selected an MNA, the related cases or appeals will be displayed in the same way regular cases are displayed. Note however, that the RYA has indicated that they will not allow RRS.org to use the RYA cases, so they are not shown when you select the RYA. The RYA decisions are only available by search.

Thanks Paul. That's great.

I've still got a problem: When I click the Rx pulldown, I can't see Prescriptions for GBR/RYA, as illustrated in your thumbnail.

Would it be possible to put up Listings for those appeals that you do have as is done for WS Cases in the Rules>Cases pulldown?

Unfortunately the RYA doesn't want RRS.org to publish their prescriptions or decisions, so that option is disabled for everyone but administrators.

Thanks Graham. I'm reasonably well aware of where to find racing rules resources.

I find the racingrulesofsailing.org style of presentation and links to individual Cases and Appeals particularly useful in web discussions.
