We are so happy to see you back here at the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour! After a year without any events, all Cork volunteers rolled their sleeves with so much enthusiasm to plan, and sometimes to adjust as the Covid rules went up or down to prepare you not only a safe season but a memorable one! And yes, I know, there are some new rules to keep in mind, like wearing a mask if social distancing is not possible, but the weather is so nice, let’s rock and roll! After the CORK International Club 420 Sail Canada Youth Championship, the Cork International Optimist Regatta, the Cork International and Sail Canada Youth Championship for the ILCA 4 & 6, all of them with so much success, here comes the CORK Olympic Classes Regatta and Sail Canada Senior Championship. This year we are pleased to welcome a new group of sailors which is the Kite community. 15 of them will join 45 ILCA 6 and 24 ILCA 7 coaching by 15 persons. We all wish you great sailing conditions, but most importantly, have fun! Have a great regatta. Bonjour à vous tous, Nous sommes tellement contents de vous revoir ici à Portsmouth Olympic Harbour! Alors que l’an passé nous n’avons pu organiser des régates, cette année, tous les bénévoles de Cork se sont retroussé les manches avec enthousiasme afin de planifier et parfois en apportant des changements alors que les règles sanitaires évoluaient sans cesse pour vous préparer non seulement une saison sécuritaire en cette période de pandémie mais vous offrir une saison mémorable! Et oui, nous devons encore respecter certaines règles sanitaires, comme le port du masque si la distanciation de 2 mètres n’est pas possible, mais les conditions pour faire de la voile sont excellentes alors let’s rock and roll! Après le Championnat jeunesse de voile en 420, les Championnats canadiens ILCA, la régate internationale en optimist de Cork, la régate internationale et les Championnats jeunesse de Voile ILCA-Canada, toutes ces régates qui ont connu un beau succès, voici la régate Olympique des classes senior de Cork et les Championnats senior de voile ILCA-Canada. Événement nouveau cette année, nous sommes heureux de souhaiter la bienvenue à un nouveau groupe de compétiteurs en Kite. 15 d’entre eux se joindront à 45 ILCA 6 et 25 ILCA 7 appuyés par 15 entraîneurs.
